At lone star you’ll be good with pretty much any setup. As you rank up you unlock rods, reels, and fish in line that are stronger and capable of catching larger (heavier) fish. If you want to cast and retrieve alot for bass and pike then youll want a casting spoon on a spinning rod. These realistic sim games can be incredibly enjoyable when they're done well and can also be a great way for players to learn about the intricacies of real-world fishing as they play.
